I waited about a year and a half referral to diagnosis. Fair warning I've been in the titration queue for 7 months now after being diagnosed, they've just extended the wait estimation to 10 months

I was referred in July 2023 and still waiting. Though heard of people referred in June 2023 getting appointments last week so fingers crossed I hear soon. But yeah.Wait is about a year at present. RTC and Private are on the same waiting list for PsychiatryUK so would not make a difference there. They are treated equally.

I (20f) have been on the adhd waiting list for for 1 year and 8 months and I am currently studying at university. I am struggling really hard with my studies, I'm not sure how I've gone most of my life without any support for this. I don't know what to do to get the support I need, I've called and emailed CNWL ADHD but they say they can't do anything until the 3 year mark as that's how long the waiting lists are. What do I do? how can I get help? I can't wait another year and a half. Please help. Any advise is greatly appreciated.

My referral went in on the 17th July. Today i received a text about onboarding with a link (which doesn't work 😔) I tried contacting them but no reply. so i make this 29 weeks so far? I really hope it's not too much longer.

My partner has been on the wait list for a number of months now. I'm not quite sure how long but I believe it's been over 6 months.

Just to add my own hat in the ring. I was referred in July 2023. Got my portal (accepted) in August 2023. They contact every 6 weeks or so to say you're still waiting. Haven't heard anything else otherwise. I waited over two years in NHS before they decided to refer me to PsychiatryUK. When I started I was told 6 months. I start a PhD in September and was also hoping for support before then 10 months and counting. Hope others of you have heard good news x

I'm in the same boat, accepted in early August 23 and now they're sending fortnightly monitoring forms that if you don't fill in you get removed from the list! Last one I received was June 8th so I'm freaking out they've removed me so I messaged - no reply.I messaged in January asking if the waitlist was months or years and they said months but it's coming up to a year and then when you get invited to an appointment the appointments available are months ahead.

Ah this is annoying to read :(I'm about 4 months in to waiting for my initial assessment and I was hoping I wouldn't have to wait much longer but by the looks of it I might not even be half way through my waiting time.

It's been over ½ a year since my diagnosis. I'm still to receive a titration appointment. The struggle is real!

BillyFatStax

I went with RTC with Psychiatry UK. Took 10months to be assessed, and then 10 months for titration. So them saying a year wait is about right as waiting times have gone up since I got seen.
